Kalif Design was founded in Istanbul in 2018 by two young architects who believe that design is not only about aesthetics, but also a fundamental element that adds value to spaces. What began with zero capital quickly evolved into a growing journey shaped by a strong vision that brings architectural perspective together with production.
In its early years, Kalif Design was shaped by architectural projects, interior applications, renovation, and restoration works. Rather than pursuing short-term gains, the company reinvested all of its achievements into R&D, production, and brand infrastructure, transforming into a production-focused structure. This transformation formed the foundation of a manufacturing approach that began with planter products developed for the landscaping sector and has since expanded into a much broader use of architectural concrete.
In 2019, Kalif Design expanded its production facilities and fully focused on manufacturing. With a design- and quality-driven approach, the brand has consistently expanded its product range year after year. Today, Kalif is one of the few brands offering.
over 580 original designs across 11 main product categories, all suitable for serial production, readily available in catalog form, and open to the global market.
Kalif found its new home at Sadık Paşa Mansion in 2023, embracing a distinctive identity that would shape and define the brand’s aesthetic character.
In 2024, Kalif inaugurated its 10,000 m² factory at its current location, significantly expanding its production capacity to include a 1,000 m² showroom and a team of 150 experienced professionals.
In 2026, as part of its strategic expansion across Europe, Kalif established its Netherlands warehouse to support growing international demand.
