Mehmet Hacıosmanoğlu, one of the founding partners of Kalif Design, was invited to make a presentation at Istanbul Gelişim University and in his presentation titled "The Furniture Adventure of Concrete", he talked about what kind of material Kalif Beton is and what it can achieve.
We won the battle to combine lightweight concrete with natural stone and highlight the textures of these natural stones, and moved away from the boring grayness of concrete. In our collections created with natural stones in their own colors, we procured stones from various parts of our country and combined them with our specially prepared formula, making this aesthetic very light at the same time, while we definitely increased the durability of concrete, which is another problem. We made this lightweight concrete both visually pleasing, useful and very long-lasting and started using it in all our products in separate categories in our designs. In our journey that we started with the production of concrete flower pots, we started the production of Concrete table in order to bring the aesthetics from the gardens and corners of the house to the middle of the houses and gardens. We designed the Concrete coffee table group to combine this pleasure with our eye pleasure while sipping our favorite drinks at home. In general, we started to design and produce Beton TV units to accompany the movies we will watch on our best nights. We entered this field by making our Concrete Firepit Firepit fire pit designs in order to warm us both in winter evenings and summer evenings and to crown our visual pleasure and the taste of our friendship with friends and these beautiful moments.

We are proud to bring the group called Firepit Concrete Fireplace, which can be referred to as Concrete Fire Pit, to Türkiye for the first time. This special Concrete Fireplace group has 3 different alternatives. If you want concrete fire pits, you can use Bio Ethanol fueled models. This bio ethanol fuel is actually a type of natural fuel obtained from algae. Thanks to this fuel, if you use concrete fire pits indoors, it will not cause any smoke, smoke or odor, and since the heating power of the fire is quite high, it is definitely suitable for heating purposes. When concrete is mentioned, almost everyone thinks of it as being heavy, and besides being heavy, it is also bulky and is gray in color, without standard aesthetic concerns, and is pushed into the background with completely coverings.
Our story of starting out as Kalif Design is actually kmirrork for exactly these reasons. Before Kalif Design started production, all of these perceptions were considered correct, at least for our country, but we prioritized both product Design and Material Design before starting production.
